Gaining votes from LGBTQ+ people just to turn around and “Uno out” with the thoughtful legislator, mother of faith, and advocate for the wellbeing of young people cards. Oh, she speaks RWVE (Right-Wing Vernacular English) pretty well. Representative Thierry has confuddled her people. Voting yes on HB 900 (Book Banning Bill)  and SB 14 (Gender Affirming Care) does not align with the pledged support she promised during her campaign (sounds familiar?). With both bills effective September 1st, Shawn Thierry has made it clear that everything what your people thought they knew, was a lie.   Moving along, I encourage you all to follow me to the pages of Kitara Ravache, New York State Representative of the 3rd congressional district… -Yes Oliver, I see your hand is raised? Ms. Audacious, Kitara Ravache does not exist. Does not exist, how so Oliver? Well, according to the sources, Kitara is an alias used in lieu of George Santos’s identity as a drag superstar, yet he denies the claims. You know what else George Santos denies Oliver? 1 count conspiracy to commit offenses against the US, 2 counts wire fraud, 2 counts making materially false statements to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), 2 counts falsifying records, 2 counts of aggravated identity theft, 1 count excessive device fraud, 7 counts wire fraud, 3 counts money laundering, 1 count theft of public funds, and 2 counts making materially false statements to US House of Reps. Not to forget: “Credit Card Fraud Scheme” and “Party Program Scheme.” Ravche and Nancy Marks charged cards repeatedly without authorization, obtained $44,800 and placed the coins into Santo’s personal bank account while falsely listing the contributions to the FEC. The soon to be DC Universe duo (because Marvel would NEVER) submitted false reports inflating numbers to ensure their campaign qualified to receive support in the amount of $250,000. Yes, Ivy Rose, do you have a question? It says that George Santos admitted to part of the allegations. Mmhm that is correct, he also has been seen attempting to gain attention regarding the Middle East Conflict but that will be for a different lesson when we deep dive… Acting.

We almost experienced a government shutdown but Uncle Daddy Joe signed for the previous year’s budget to take place for 45 days until an agreement between the Republicans and Democrats can occur.  Mandatory funding for Social Security, Medicare & Unemployment are pretty much safe however, discretionary funding which consists of National Defense, Infrastructure, Public Health research, National Parks & International Assistance are at risk. During a shutdown, government employees will experience furlough but still have to work just no pay. While Congress cannot settle on a budget plan, an adverse effect ensues for the 20% of Black folk who make a living in the middle class as government employees. EBT/SNAP, HIV & AIDS relief, Panoramic provisions, food inspections, traveling, construction and so much more will be negatively affected. This has been an issue since Obama was in office as of late and shows how important the primary elections are to be sure this doesn’t continue.         Imagine paying respects to a colleague and dear friend who has passed, and you receive an eviction notice while out of town yet unable to collect your belongings.  Imagine being accused of not holding up on a promise of solidarity when said accuser has not shown respectable actions towards the institution. Imagine not being shown the same grace you’ve shown others. What an interesting week in congress, Kevin McCarthy being removed from his seat by his own people and all of the Democrats was a first of its kind.  Patrick McHenry playing the revenge card on Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer was also not on our bingo cards. Seriously, the big office energy is real. Do they need the pencils and calculators as well? Cue the Tyra Banks meme. Sexyy Red was a  guest on “This Past Weekend w/ Cleo Von ” and many people who were in the trenches defending the “Sexyy Reds” who may exist in some families, found themselves taken aback. Sexyy endorsed with her whole chest from the hood, 45 needed to be placed back into presidency because HE gave us stimulus money (which we know was not possible without the say of congress) and let Black folk out of jail (paid pardons). Now we know the delay that occurred due to the Orange Guy needing to have his signature on the stimulus checks and covid relief food boxes were definitely branding and propaganda moves however, was that all we needed from a president who continued to use misconduct towards women and perpetuate hate against the LGBTQ community while doing shady business with dangerous world leaders?  Umm ….

Speaking of pressing this week has been quite interesting with the second installment of the Republican debate and the writer’s strike ending. I hope this creates better conversations and opportunities for our talented community who deserves to be compensated for their brilliant works. Let’s get into this week’s fools.  It appears Dreamsicle 45 will have some type of place on the board every week at this point. This week it wasn’t really him exactly, it was his band of trolls who were the fools that boasted about his activity while in North Carolina. Showing support to the second amendment it was made a spectacle when Citrus#45 enthusiastically and repeatedly stated he wanted to purchase a “pew pew” while visiting Palmetto State Armory. Steven Cheung took to X to post, “President Trump purchases a Glock in South Carolina!” well the bat signal has been seen and the gang has responded. Brian Glenn & Marjorie Taylor Greene were excited by the news and confirmed this piece of information during a rally coverage as well as Laura Loomer via her X post. All this is alleged now seeing how illegal it would be for the multi-failed business owner with indictments against him. The foolery continues as the back paddling and “clarifications” quickly settle from the dust of folks retweeting (yea I said it retweet). RSBNetwork has a great example as they have the edited version of their post live yet they tweeted what happened (see photo). All of this could just be folks playing a game to hold attention but then again.. I must make note of Vivek Ramaswamy’s continued misinformation around issues he holds a stance against. Anytime we use a word ending in ISM (Transgenderism) it usually is classified as some type of system of resistance or oppression. Trans people are definitely not oppressing the masses as we only make up about 1.6% of the population. Surgeries are almost never performed on a child. HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) includes a conversation with the parent or guardian and is not freely given to someone who wishes to transition. If right-wing activists were to ask about the process the argument would change. Google is free and so is ignorance. Claiming to pass a federal ban on something that isn’t defined in your own argument is not a strong suit I’d play. We have a lot to work out until November, please be sure to vote.
